Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Germany, Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top navigation and maps applications in Germany demonstrated varying performance trends across downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at the performance metrics for the top 5 apps: Google Maps, Blitzer.de, Google Earth, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, and OOONO.

Google Maps saw a relatively stable trend in weekly downloads, ranging from 80K to 102K. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, starting at 10.1M at the beginning of the quarter and reaching approximately 10.7M by the end of June.

Blitzer.de experienced a peak in weekly downloads in mid-April with about 44.8K downloads. Weekly revenue peaked at $94K during the same period. Active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter with around 267K.

Google Earth maintained steady download numbers, fluctuating between 27K and 35K. Active users saw a notable increase, starting from 344K in late March and peaking at nearly 390K by mid-June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, averaging around 22K. Active users steadily grew from 526K at the beginning of the quarter to over 613K by the end of June.

OOONO had fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at 29K in late March and stabilizing around 17K towards the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 1.1M to approximately 1.25M over the same period.
